Boeing Will Conduct an Uncrewed Test Flight for Its Starliner
Daniel Johnson — April 7, 2020 — Tech
Boeing is conducting another uncrewed test flight for its Starliner, which is scheduled to take place in either October or November. The new uncrewed test flight comes after the first flight was not able to reach the International Space Station. The initial test flight took place in December, however, it was not able to enter orbit the way it was planned.
Boeing released a statement about its updated plans, “We have chosen to refly our Orbital Flight Test to demonstrate the quality of the Starliner system. Flying another uncrewed flight will allow us to complete all flight test objectives and evaluate the performance of the second Starliner vehicle at no cost to the taxpayer.”
