The Twofold Bench looks like something out of a retro video game. The neon-hued border coupled with the continuous blocky silhouette has a digital vibe that is hard to deny. Yet nostalgic comparisons aside, it is a sleek seating solution for outdoor settings.
Designed by After Architecture, a collaborative design house founded by two Cornell University seniors in the Bachelor of Architecture program, the Twofold Bench is essentially an all-in-one furniture piece. Not only does it boast two chairs facing each other, there is a table separating the two. In a way, the Twofold Bench is like a modernized outdoor chess table.
The Twofold Bench is meant to accommodate people of average height as well as children as the seat has two levels.
