When we think of lighting for the home, the first thing that might come to mind is a ceiling fixture or a traditional lamp, but the Trunk to Think Light is anything but these two familiar images. The Trunk to Think Light is crafted from a crate and acts more like a subwoofer than a way to illuminate a room.
The creation can be placed on the floor or on a table depending on the level of intensity desired. Putting it on the floor creates an almost ambient form of illumination and is definitely my favorite option by far.
We light our spaces in a very utilitarian manner because that's how it has been done for so long, but options like the Trunk to Think Light switch up our perceptions of how we can choose to illuminate and give us an idea of how to light in a more organic fashion.
