Triple W introduces a smaller and more affordable alternative to disposable diapers. It is also a much more environmentally friendly option. It plans to ship out the smart personal bladder sensor for urinary incontinence later this year directly from the company. The DFree device helps monitor the bladder with noninvasive sensors using ultrasound technology. It can then notify users through the smartphone or tablet when the body needs to go.
It measures out to be similar to the size of a matchbox. It attaches to the lower abdomen and safely uses a personal ultrasound sensor to then securely send information to the mobile device. CEO Atsushi Nakanishi talks about the design, “Our elegantly designed personal sensor will enable seniors and people with disability with urinary incontinence more freedom and independence [...] The sleek design improves wearability and promotes confidence allowing users the ability to predict and plan ahead, taking charge of their health needs.”
