With all the "be green" marketing that's out there, it is nice to know some people are getting more creative in communicating their environmental messages. The people at Flow Creative, came up with a super cute mascot for tree planting, the Treeless Squirrel.
In the tradition of Smokey the Bear and Woodsy the Owl, Treeless Squirrel characterizes the need for us to become more aware about our impacts on the environment. Unlike those classic characters, our Squirrel has got a back story.
In the beautifully shot film, we see the Treeless Squirrel down on his luck. Homeless, he goes door to door looking for a place to stay. He finds a roommate situation, but alas, squirrels and people aren’t the best cohabitators. Treeless Squirrel is back on the streets with the message, “Plant Trees Please.”
