The front wheel of this bicycle looks a little curious because, instead of a hub, a Travel Tent has been installed. Remove the black fabric circle and you'll see that there are no spokes, and instead, a reinforcing metal ring helps to hold the tire's shape.
Pei-Chun Chen, Chung-Jung Wu and Li-Fu Chen came up with the idea to efficiently integrate a camper's refuge into the body of the road bike. The notion was that many riders enjoy attempting long distance excursions; this product would give them the opportunity to take full day-long spins and sleep comfortably out of the the city. The Travel Tent frees the athlete of weight and bulk on his body or elsewhere for a much more streamlined journey.
