The folks at the World Mobile Conference in Barcelona this weekend caught word of what’s being claimed as the world’s first transparent touchscreen phone. The LG GD-900 will have a clear slide-out keyboard with glow feature, but that’s about the only info being released now about the phone’s features at this point.
All we know is the LG GD-900 phone will come out in Q2 2009, but no word yet on its price tag. From the photos, it appears that not the entire phone (including screen) is transparent, but it is bound to draw attention as the world of touchscreen technology grows wildly in years to come. I wonder if Apple is at the drawing board for their version as we speak!
