This just sounds far too romantic! There's something so enchanting about Christmas lights; streets lit with the warm glow of holiday decorations is something magical, regardless of your age. In New York, one ski resort is taking their seasonal lights beyond festive villages, decorating an entire ski slope to illuminate the hills.
"Trail of Lights" is a month long event at Peek'n Peak ski resort and spa.
"It is going to be spectacular," said Chip Day, VP of brand management. "We think this is going to start our season off with a bang."
The slopes will feature 14 brightly colored, animated, themed displays which can be seen from the 20 minute chairlift ride. Fill a thermos with some hot, spiked eggnog, pack some fresh gingerbread, and pay the petty $5 for the lift pass, and you'll have an unforgettable romantic holiday night.
