The Toyota 4Runner TRD Surf Concept has been unveiled by the brand just ahead of the 2024 SEMA Show to offer avid fans of the namesake SUV model with a tubular option to ogle. The vehicle was created at Toyota's Motorsports Garage and is inspired by the surf culture of 1980s Southern California with a variety of accents that make it ready for trips to the coast.
The vehicle packs the Toyota iForce 2.4-liter turbocharged engine under the hood that will deliver 278-horsepower and 317lb-ft of torque, while the 37-inch tires are rated to handle the highway and sand dune with ease. The interior is waterproofed to ensure it's ready for post-surf driving.
The Toyota 4Runner TRD Surf Concept is rounded out with a removable hardtop in the rear section to further increase the sporty look and feel.
