Gadgets keep getting smaller, and the latest shrinking example would have to be Toshiba's 2.9mm razor thin LCD panel. For those of you who aren't used to metric, 2.9mm is about the same width as a piece of cardboard.
Toshiba's new launch will, of course, be the slimmest LCD ever. Despite its small width, the LCD sports 1280x800 resolution, which will help to enable slimmer laptops and sexier gadgets.
Implications - The combination of minimalist designs and attractive imagery make these razor-thin monitors not only practical, but totally stylish! I would love to use the slimmest LCD ever, and you can bet I'm not the only one. Toshiba has done it again with this super-cool technological advancement; all I have to say is wow!
