Trend Hunter is fond of quirky photography, as you can see in the cluster of 25 quirky photography sets below. This Product Dissections project by Erik Boker is as quirky as they come and a great addition to our library of the artistically bizarre.
See, Boker literally dissects the toothpaste products in this project. And by dissect I mean lay the toothpaste tube, slash its "skin" open and pin it up frog style.
I won't know where to start in describing such a project. Thankfully, Boker spared me the confusion and described his project as follows, "I am interested in the notions of art as commercial product, art as artifact, and the nature of the museum, and I continue to explore our understanding of their roles, and the inherent beauty, humor, and horror that lies within them."
