A Tokyo Hooters location has teamed up with Spacee -- a space matching service that rents work areas during downtime -- to offer up its restaurant space for workers looking to be productive out of the office. The 20-seat restaurant, located in Tokyo's Ginza neighborhood, will be available for use between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. with the seats being booked through Spacee, which requires sign-up or membership fees. Booking the restaurant as a workspace can be done in 30-minute work blocks and will generally run 50 yen. Booking a seat at the Tokyo Hooters will also give users a discount on drinks and the experience will be free to students.
The use of this Tokyo Hooters location as a workspace may seem incredibly strange, but Spacee is encouraging people to keep an open mind. The idea behind this collaboration was to create an environment different than the usual, in hopes that people would be able to find new discoveries and work on innovative ideas.
