The new Tinder Festival Mode has been announced by the dating app as a way for users to find a prospective love interest who they can meet up with at a music festival they'll both be attending. Arriving just in time for festival season, the app feature will also provide users with access to exclusive VIP perks and more to help encourage more swiping in anticipation of upcoming events. The badges on the app that will let others know what festival they'll be attending will be live three weeks prior to the event.
The company explained the new Tinder Festival Mode in a statement saying, "No longer are your connections limited to your campsite neighbors or whose shoulders you stood on during the headliner’s performance. Tinder stated in a press release. So put down your fringe boots and neon fanny pack because, thanks to Tinder, your festival game is now stronger than ever."
