Timex has added a new function to their famous Ironman Triathalon watch - "i-Control for i-Pod" (as Gearlog.com pointed out, there is no hyphen in iPod, but we'll cut them some i-Slack). The watch can play, pause, skip, backtrack, and adjust the volume on your iPod. Handy for runners and gadgeteers.
Implications - iPods and other mp3 playing devices have become a necessity for almost everyone in the modern world. This device allows people to access their iPod more efficiently, providing a better product experience for the consumer. Businesses should not only look at how to make their products better by itself, but to work better cooperatively with the other gadgets people use in their day-to-day life.
