The delightfully purist forms of the Times Tableware Collection have them harkening to a bygone era of beautiful utilitarian design -- yet there is a distinctive contemporary aesthetic to each of these pieces. They have been made of a smooth and pristine ceramic material into perfect cylindrical shapes, yet they are accented with quirky protrusions and the incorporation of wooden components.
Fredrik Waernes' lovely little teacups have been manufactured in just the one material and feature unusual but effective little handles that stick straight out. The sugar shaker is, however, entirely made of wood, taking the seductive silhouette of a wine bottle. The coffee and tea carafe showcases the charming qualities of both materials with a white earthenware body and a lumber handle, cap and plug.
