Widow Jane Distillery's ‘The Vaults 2022’ is Slated for October Release
‘The Vaults 2022,’ the fourth volume of a periodically shifting collection of Widow Jane Distillery's oldest and rarest whiskey, will be available starting in October. The expression fuses multiple 14 to 19-year-old bourbons that have been hand-selected by master distiller Lisa Wicker, arriving just in time for the holiday season. ‘The Vaults’ are characterized by high-intensity flavors like tobacco, leather, vanilla, sarsaparilla, unsweetened cinnamon, cocoa powder, and slight hints of a seasoned oak campfire.
The Vaults has experimented with numerous types of finishing wood from diverse geographical locations. Casks made from Missouri Ozark wood that had been air-seasoned for three years are used to finish the Vaults 2022 release, bringing forth undertones of vanilla, smoke, and spice.
