The Swarm Light is a pretty awesome interactive set of chandeliers that mimics the behavior of a swarm of bugs (think bees). The chandeliers are made out of LED lights and the light swarms can jump between the three chandeliers, creating an interactive light show that looks very realistic.
Although bugs are something I would generally avoid in real life, I still find the Swarm Light to be prety creative and entertaining to observe.
Implications - With so much of the former developing world entering a new era of sustenance and luxury, businesses who design products that take elements from traditional African and South American cultures will find favor with local populations that increasingly have money and free time to spend.
