The Postmark Hotel, originally established as a post office in 1914, has been renovated into a boutique hotel in Newmarket; the hotel offers a refined environment for dining, accommodation, and events.
Occupying three floors, The Postmark Hotel features 55 uniquely designed guestrooms, catering to various needs and preferences. The accommodations range from "cozy rooms to suites with high ceilings, walkout terraces, living areas, and kitchenettes with distinctive character, incorporating Canadian artworks, modern decor, and high-speed internet." Guests also have access to organic toiletries and other premium amenities. In addition to this, the hotel includes four adaptable event spaces for special occasions.
Dining options are provided by two restaurants—The Lobby, located on the main floor, serves as both a café and bar, that operates from breakfast to dinner. The rooftop restaurant, Overlea, presents brunch and dinner with city views and a menu featuring dishes like 'Seared Venison Carpaccio.' Both restaurants focus on "farm-to-table practices and use locally sourced, seasonal ingredients."
