The Last Fiesta from Pale Horse Design is a unique tribute to Da Vinci's Last Supper.
Chris Parks, the design studio illustrator and graphic designer, created a series of 12 skateboarding decks that once collectively side by side, create his take on The Last Supper. Instead of Apostles, Parks re-created Jesus as "Christos Mysterio" and his Apostles. All of the members of The Last Fiesta are featured wearing Lucha Libre masks, giving them a less-than-holy look.
Instead of the traditional wine from Da Vinci's painting, Parks added another twist through putting Mexican liquor brands such as Modelo and Don Julio tequila alongside the famous Corona and Dos Equis beers.
Parks' The Last Fiesta is a unique tribute to Da Vinci's The Last Supper as well as to Christianity, making it a must-see for anyone who can appreciate modern interpretations.
