Did you ever feel as if your not getting enough exercise? One way to combat this is by making you house 100 feet tall and separate each floor by a staircase. This is what the son of famous Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza has done for one of his clients.
He has created a house that is twelve stories tall and literally hugs the mountainside from the top of the site to the bottom. The entry is at the top and the pool is at the bottom, so if you wanted to take a dip before heading out you will certainly get a workout.
Some of the unique features of the home include floating , cantilevered stairs, a complete set of exterior and interior stairs, and a number of planters that also double as roofs.
