Samsung Design Delhi has presented the Folio, which is designed with research to accommodate middle-class families in the global south market that resort to low-height seating. This tablet angles the tablet upwards instead of leaning on a stand. The dual-kickstand is a basis that lifts up the table by about half a foot to enable floor seating use.
The accessory attaches to the table and it can be rotated freely. The team explains, “The Folio is the first ever Floor Table Display with [an] iconic Dual Kickstand allowing various lockable angles of viewing in both landscape and portrait formats while placed on the floor. It combines the richness of larger screen displays with the essence of portability from the smaller screens.”
