If you hate running up to the front of the bus just to check the bus number, the folding plate for busses will solve that problem. Korean designers Chae-woo Park and Tae-eun Kim have come up with the Folding Plate, a simple route indicator that pops out when the door opens.
There's nothing complicated about this innovation, just simple mechanics. The plate is already folded in between, so once it's attached to the door, it bends itself outward as the door opens. The plate also has LED lights which will be beneficial to those travelling at night. This is a simple, cost-effective concept that will hopefully be in all buses in the near future.
