The Elder Statesman unveils its first permanent New York store, bringing its signature colorful cashmere and luxe home goods to SoHo's bustling Crosby Street. This 1,500-square-foot flagship marks the brand’s second-ever store, complementing its West Hollywood location in Los Angeles.
Founder Greg Chait meticulously selected this space, nestled between Spring and Prince streets, to reflect the brand's ethos of creativity and craftsmanship. Designed by Isaac Brest, the store combines industrial materials like Plexiglas and plywood with warm cedar wood paneling and off-white terracotta flooring. Unique installations, such as cashmere patchwork quilts crafted from factory scraps, elevate the boutique into a tactile, artistic experience.
From cozy sweaters to plush blankets and custom cashmere beds, The Elder Statesman offers a wide range of unisex apparel and home products. This vibrant new space is a testament to the brand’s growth and commitment to creating pieces that seamlessly blend comfort, design, and timeless style.
