'Ox Motorcycles,' the Madrid-based electric motorbike start-up, launched 'The Duk,' a street-legal, safety-focused electric enduro bike. This e-bike is a higher-end model than the brand's previous 'The One' motorbike. The Duk is available in two models, the 'L3e' and 'L1e' versions. The versions are quite similar in price, though their respective performance specifications are quite different in order to target the different motorcycle licenses in Europe.
The L3e version features unrestricted performance that achieves a top speed of 53 miles-per-hour delivered from an 8 kW central motor. The L1e version, on the other hand, is limited for certain licenses and it only achieves a top speed of 28 miles per hour. The L1e retails for approximately $6,500 USD, while the L3e costs $6,700 USD. Both models boast a maximum range of approximately 60 miles.
