Israel-based design firm Designtest provides an elegant solution to dog-eared books and magazines with The Drop magazine stand.
Typical stands simply hold a bunch of books, newspapers and magazines together that often end up getting jumbled into one large messy pile anyway. Shaped like a tear, The Drop magazine stand's angled top lets readers rest their reading material on top of the stand without having to fold pages over as bookmarks. The teardrop perch has a deceptive round bottom, but actually rests perfectly stable on the floor with its subtle support on both sides. The slim design of the wooden stand allows users in smaller apartments to save space for other quirky home decor as well.
