The campaign for the Apple iPhone started yesterday with an ad in a commercial break during the 79th Academy Awards. It started with images of old phones and people saying hello... Of course they were not just people, they were all famous stars from movies and TV like Michael J. Fox, Clark Gable or Mr. Incredible from Pixar's "The Incredibles", with a total of 31 actors and actresses. Then it all relates back to the iPhone
So the campaign is already moving, ready to make people desire and begg for it to be available, so that when June comes they all go with the money they have been saving to get one of them. I won't be one of those, I have said at least a couple of times that I hate both the concept and the gadget itself, but the truth is that I adore fresh campaigns like this.
