The Annex Hotel Enjoys a Welcoming Atmosphere by StudioAC

The Annex Hotel -- a boutique hospitality business in Toronto, is refurbished by local firm StudioAC. The establishment is located in "a century-old, three-storey brick building." As the design firm focused on a contemporary approach to the hotel's aesthetic, there is a subtle juxtaposition of styles. For the interior, StudioAC tapped plywood. From "custom platform beds" to "expansive desks," the warm tonalities of the material makes the Annex Hotel a worthwhile investment while on holiday.
The space features an ample amount of light with at least two windows per room, as well as some views of downtown Toronto. To amplify the status of a mixed-use building, StudioAC decides to preserve some exposed brick walls as a definite contrast to the otherwise modern aesthetic.
