With so many apps available now, it can be difficult for parents to find content that's age-appropriate for their kids—which is why Google launched its new 'Kids' tab on Google Play, as well as a 'Teacher Approved' badge that marks much of the content that's featured in this section.
In the Kids tab, parents will be able to access a variety of content that's age-appropriate. Although Google is still updating the tab with kid-friendly content, the company decided to launch the feature slightly ahead of schedule after receiving positive feedback from parents.
Within the Kids tab is plenty of content that's stamped with a Teacher Approved badge, which highlights content that's been vetted and approved by academic experts and teachers. All content that includes the Teacher Approved badge will explain why it received this accreditation—letting parents know what age group it's suitable for, the learning experience it offers, the positive messages it promotes, and more.
