The TableConnect, which is compatible with various smartphones such as iOS and Android devices, only requires it to be plugged in and the phone's screen contents are transferred onto a larger screen, making it the world's first multi-touch screen. The screens, upheld by "built-to-last" anodized black aluminum, comes in both 32-inch and 60-inch screens.
After the initial concept went viral and garnered over 4 million views on YouTube, and grabbed the attention of major media outlets around the world, TableConnect, according to its website, was inspired by the monolith in Stanley Kubrik's 2001 movie Space Odyssey. The shape of the legs allow for the screen to be tilted upright for presentations, or be placed flat for multi-touch interactions.
