Trane Technologies focuses on Sustainable Heating and Cooling
References: accesswire
Trane Technologies has inaugurated a new Innovation Center in Oberhausen, Germany, dedicated to sustainable heating and cooling solutions. Spanning 14,000 square meters, this facility highlights advanced technologies aimed at decarbonizing and electrifying climate control in buildings and transportation. It includes a Center of Excellence for Electrification that develops eco-friendly electric drive systems and components for transport refrigeration, featuring an on-site testing laboratory.
The center also expands Trane's rental services for sustainable heating and cooling, as well as cold storage solutions. Equipped with state-of-the-art testing and maintenance equipment, the facility ensures high standards of service for its products. The building itself employs an innovative thermal management system that eliminates the use of fossil fuels, integrating a Trane® Sintesis Balance CMAF multi-pipe system and a Sintesis Advantage CXAF air/water heat pump. This system is projected to save over 500,000 kg of CO2 emissions annually.
