I've seen some excellent Super Mario cosplay in my time, but this impressive display takes the cake, or I suppose it takes the mushrooms.
The Super Mario cosplay costumes pictured here are the work of Barry V of Nintentoys, a professional costume maker based in San Diego, California. What truly makes these costumes stand out is the fact that every last detail is accurate on both Mario Bros, from the stylized mustaches to the bulbous noses and exaggerated hands. It seems like Nintentoys was so pleased with their work that he even went into Photoshop to create a faux movie poster for a Super Mario film. I'd like to think that just by virtue of the costumes that this film version would be better than the 1993 Super Mario movie.
