Vitreluxe's Stump Cocktail Set Pays Tribute to Classic Whiskey Making
Madison Mackay — June 28, 2018 — Art & Design
Portland-based homeware company Vitreluxe created the new Stump Cocktail Set -- each piece modelled after an oak branch.
The new set pays tribute to the classic wood infusion that is used to add flavor to whiskey. To design the set, the brand used a mold that was taken from a real branch, processed it and turned it into a bronze blow mold by using a melting glass system that is generated from 100% renewable energy. The set is finished to resemble a piece of bark, complete with a traditional live edge effect detail on the lip as well as a nail stir stick spot.
Each one of the new Stump Cocktail Sets from Vitreluxe includes two tumblers, a cocktail vessel and a drink stir stick -- available in variations of size, shape and color.
