Urban space is becoming limited in more areas around the world more than ever, so this underpass studio workspace is a result of it that is both ingenious and charming. Created by Fernando Abellanas who creates furniture under the Lebrel label, the workspace is hidden below a roadway several meters above the ground. This makes it possible for the designer to work in his own space without having to worry about congestion, crowding or having to pay high rent costs.
The underpass studio workspace is accessed with a platform that is designed with casters that let it be cranked from one side to the other for quick access. The designer has bolted a chair, shelf and desk to the concrete wall for easy storage.
