Elgato is releasing a new Stream Deck Plus dock, boasting new support for XLR microphones. The Stream Deck Plus XLR Dock offers new upgrades, including additional buttons and knobs and a new LCD display. Additionally, it is designed to support 75dB of gain, which is enough to power robust microphones like the Shure SM7B. Notably, this allows streamers and content creators to seamlessly control audio and computer actions through one device, eliminating the need to purchase a mixer and Stream Deck separately.
Elgato is also catering to USB microphone users with its new Stream Deck Plus USB Hub, which plugs directly into the new Stream Deck Plus. These USB ports support up to 5Gb/s of data transfers, allowing individuals with standard microphones from Elgato and other brands the same capabilities as an XLR mixer.
