If you ever wanted to be a real-life supervillain -- or at least look one -- then you better be wandering around town in Stompy, the giant robot vehicle. The design for this totally outrageous ride comes from Project Hexapod.
It's just a concept so far, but a team of 19 is working hard to get it going. The design looks just like a giant spider, and would surely be one of the most intimidating modes of transportation out there. It uses hydraulic joints to move around and the giant legs can scale over just about everything. It can even go through water that's up to 8 feet deep.
Stompy is made to fit two, but the design can hold up to 4,000 pounds.
