The Stella Cabinet from CB2 Add a Pop of Color to Any Interior
Jana Pijak — May 6, 2014 — Art & Design
The Stella Cabinet from home design retailer CB2 is a great way to add color and personality to any modern interior. Directional stripes of color are layered atop the minimalist white oak cabinet, forming a pointed arrow shape.
These bold bands of seafoam green, red, pink, brown and yellow create a pop-art inspired graphic that is an homage to 60s decor styles. The statement piece is the work of Brooklyn-based designer Ceci Thompson who abstracted a traditional herringbone floor pattern to create its vivid graphic.
CB2's Stella Cabinet by Ceci Thompson also reference the abstract paintings in the designer's childhood home. The statement cabinet measures 31 inches in width, 12 inches in depth and 39 inches in height making it a perfect addition into a dining room or living room space in need of some personality.
