It comes as another vibrant addition to the roster of events and commemorations taking place across the country for the 150th anniversary.
The lineup of performances include ones that are from Toronto, Quebec and even from Australia as a partnership was created with theater companies from the country.
Speaking on the Australian stage performances that are set to debut in the 2016-2017 season, artistic and general manager Matthew Jocelyn explains that, "It’s a look at what’s happened to the society and the artists of our sister nation over the past 150 years, as we have relatively similar colonial histories and relatively similar histories with our aboriginal peoples."
