SPYNTEX is a modular chair and furniture system that encourages creativity from the people who own it. Like a life-sized, functional set of building blocks, SPYNTEX can be assembled into any type of furniture.
The original plan for SPYNTEX was to create a modular seating unit. However, after working through the system, the designers found that SPYNTEX could be so much more. The system consists of several dozen interlocking slats that can be bent at the joints to fold into almost any shape. The adult version could be a chair, a bench, or a table, for example, while the kids version can be all that plus a variety of toys such as a see-saw.
The durable slats that make up SPYNTEX are smooth yet strong, allowing the furniture to be used both indoors and outdoors.
