Designer Jinhong Lin has come up with a simple way to create an eco-friendly coach hanger out of bamboo, perfect for those into the eco-chic movement.
Bamboo is quickly becoming one of the top environmentally-friendly resources in design and fashion. In addition to being cost-efficient, bamboo is grown 100% naturally without any assistance from man. It thrives naturally without using any pesticides or fertilizers.
"The entire manufacturing process consists of harvesting and scoring the ends of the bamboo stalk," Lin says. "While the stalk is still somewhat pliable - pressing in the ends creates a foot stand and loops; the perfect coat hanger."
