The UK-based amusement park Gullivers Kingdom is currently running a program called Splash Tots that allows toddlers to enjoy its water park. What sets Gullivers Kingdom apart from other amusement parks is that it is specifically geared towards children between the ages of two and 13. Now the park is making its water park even more accessible for its youngest visitors with a series of toddler-friendly play sessions.
The Splash Tots: Paddle and Play Sessions take place in Gullivers Kingdom's kid-friendly water park. The new sessions are targeted towards pre-school toddlers who may be too young for some of the other water park attractions. As a result, the park has set aside two-hour sessions where the water pressure is reduced and some of the more powerful water features are disabled. This gives toddlers a safe time during which to play in the paddling pools, on the splash slides and use the inflatables. The safe environment also makes it easier for parents to enjoy the water park with their toddler without worrying about any potential hazards.
The special sessions demonstrate how amusement parks can accommodate younger visitors by creating special activities for parents with very young children.
