The Spicy Tamarind vodka is a limited edition alcoholic beverage, launched by SmirnoffX1. The product is debuted in celebration of the Day of the Dead.

Aside from a taste that surely crosses innovative territory, SmirnoffX1's Spicy Tamarind vodka also showcases a heritage-boasting packaging and campaign -- both overseen by brand design agency Vault49. The creatives sought out to extract the rich symbolism, firey visuals, and cultural connotations of the Day of the Dead. The bottle of the Spicy Tamarind is, thus, visually striking on account of the "graphic patterns, vibrant colors, and "[the] digital and hand-crafted illustration." Deeply inspired by "the craftmanship of the Ofrenda (offering)," Vault49 delivers an attention-captivating limited-edition packaging that borrows a balanced amount from traditional and contemporary celebrations of the festival.
