The SPIC= by Kristof Koczka, a design student based in Budapest, Hungary, is a smart plant incubator that not only provides a literal breath of fresh air in the home, but also delicious herbs and plants to cook with as well as a place to put one's compost. The latter is doubly beneficial since it helps to cultivate the growth of the plants themselves.
One of the Top 100 Finalists at the 2014 Electrolux Design Lab, the SPIC= by Kristof Koczka provides a great way to recycle one's daily produce waste while introducing a great bit of greenery into the home. Hanging from the ceiling in the kitchen, the compositing incubator is sleek and modern with perforations from which the herbs poke out of.
