When the world around you is getting a bit hectic, the Sphere Table, designed by Hella Jongerius for Vitra, allows you to escape it all with your own personal bubble.
A basic wooden desk with a single drawer, this table was not intended to stand out and cause a scene. The attached silver dome, however, is a striking component that adds a sculptural element to the design. It doesn't encapsulate the entire working space, allowing the user to be free to socialize and interact with others, yet it provides enough privacy that the user can use it as a barrier to separate themselves as well.
The Sphere Table is a useful desk for those trying to avoid distractions and those wishing to protect their privacy.
