This special spatula comes from Jacob Riley-Wasserman as a tribute to American cuisine. The spatula itself is pretty straight forward until you get to the American flag design created on the flipper end.
Obviously attractive more so for its novelty appeal than its economic value, this special spatula costs $65. We all know Americans are famously patriotic, but how much would you pay to cook like a real yankee?
The spatula is made from stainless steel and American Walnut. The flipper is fabricated by hand by Lamson and Goodnow. Lamson and Goodnow is a longstanding and highly regarded cutlery manufacturer.
With BBQ season on its way, this special spatula might be a good way to get things started, not to mention the 4th of July implications.
