The Sook Cut is an amazing design concept for easily preparing delicious dishes. The three-part cutting board was brought to the table by Adam Brodowski.
Imagine a kitchen device that helps you create recipes using a moisture sensor, scale and electronic tongue. It also has a touch-sensitive display which shows the recipe along with detailed nutritional information and a library of all the ingredients. Brodowski’s concept includes the Sook Cut, Sook Dock and Sook Touch.
The Sook Cut lets anyone be a master chef of their own kitchen. One neat feature is that if you don’’t know what to do with the existing ingredients in your fridge, the Sook Cut can generate recipe suggestions which integrate those foods.
It also has what Brodowski calls an electronic tongue, for which there is not much information available. It also comes with the Sook Dock which can charge the Sook Cut and Sook Touch and at the same time. It also scans and identifies foods nearby, automatically adding it to the Touch database.
Once you're done preparing the food, the Sook Touch takes a photo of the dish and adds it to a social cooking site.
Any kitchen aficionado would certainly love to have a kitchen tool like this one. Too bad it is still only concept.
