Jenna Wootton — April 18, 2010 — Eco
Sony's recycling the music scene with their new Sony Vaio W Series laptop, which is partially composed of recycled CDs. So if you've ripped all of your CDs onto your computer, Sony has an environmentally-friendly use for them. Sadly, there's no resemblance between the sleek, lightweight Sony Vaio W Series laptop and your oldest, most cherished, covered-in-dust albums.
But while the Sony Vaio W Series may not exactly look retro, knowing that it's made out of old CDs makes it so cool that you might just forget about all the problems your PC is giving you. The $480 price tag doesn't hurt, either.
