Sonova, a Swiss company in the hearing aid sector, has launched Sphere Infinio, a revolutionary hearing aid that employs real-time artificial intelligence to enhance speech clarity significantly in noisy environments.
In conjunction with the Sphere Infinio, Sonova is also introducing the Infinio platform. This new platform incorporates the advanced DEEPSONIC chip technology, representing a substantial leap forward in processing capabilities. The DEEPSONIC chip boasts 53 times more processing power than the current industry standards, enabling the Sphere Infinio to deliver unprecedented speech intelligibility and noise reduction levels.
"The launch of both new platform and product should be a surprise to the market because nobody knew this technology and this benefit (real-time AI), which is quite significant, will be available for anyone already this year," CEO Arnd Kaldowski told Reuters in an interview.
