Umbro Unveils Speciali Design Finalist

Wild and colorful personalized sneakers are nothing new today. We’ve all seen an amazing one-of-a-kind pair of personalized Nike iDs walking down the street.
Well, Umbro have taken things a step further with their ‘Speciali’ football (or soccer) shoe design competition. The contestants were faced with the task of designing a shoe in which the sole of the shoe would be the main feature.
Some of the standouts included soles featuring jigsaw puzzle pieces, various flag from different nations around the globe and sole the resembles that of a part of dress shoes.
Thousands entered and 14 finalist have been chosen from the flock. If selected the winner will have their design worn by some of sport’s best, such as Michael Owen, Gael Clichy and John Terry.
