This cool twist on mirror work was done by Parisian surface designer Solenne Morigeaud. In her product line titled “Smoke and Mirror,” she laser cut, etched, and layered glass to achieve beautiful contortions.
In this particular design, the back of the mirror was removed, making the final product partly see-through. The work seems particularity relevant for the spooky Halloween season, but also fitting nicely year-round in a Victorian-styled home. I look forward to seeing more from Solenne Morigeaud, especially since mirrors seem to be a medium frequently untouched by artists.
