Garmin's 'Instinct 2' smartwatch was widely praised upon its release, with the company now taking note and offered a solar-powered smartwatch that functions as an evolved version of its predecessor, coming with the impressive promise of infinite battery life.
The 'Instinct 2X Solar' is a smartwatch whose lens acts as its solar-charging mechanism, resulting in a device that doesn't require USB charging as long as it receives at least three hours direct sunlight per day.
Elsewhere, this is the first Garmin device to offer Obstacle Course Racing, a special feature that allows users to receive automatic tracking for subsequent laps during obstacle training.
Dan Bartel, Garmin's vice-president of global consumer sales, said that this solar-powered smartwatch is designed to both assist you in treacherous conditions whilst also elevating your lifestyle during regular, daily life. "Its unique style fits your life, whether that includes outdoor adventures, time at the gym, a weekend barbecue with the family, or all three," Bartel said. "With unlimited battery life and a built-in multi-purpose flashlight, you can stay focused on the task at hand without worrying about when to find your next charge."
